What happens to your information when you contact this website or book a retreat.
Who is responsible
Sangi Carter, trading as Alchemy Therapy, Warfield, Berkshire, is the data controller. Contact: info@alchemytherapy.co.uk.
What this website collects
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. It is sent by email and is not stored in a database on this website.
Retreat bookings are handled entirely by Stripe. Your name, contact details, dietary requirements, emergency contact and payment details are given to Stripe at checkout and held by Stripe as payment processor. No card details ever reach this website.
Health information
Information about your health is special category data under UK GDPR. Please do not send detailed medical information through the enquiry form. Anything you do share as part of therapy is held under a separate clinical records policy, which is explained at your first session.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to working together are kept no longer than necessary, and you can ask for yours to be deleted at any time. Clinical records are retained in line with BACP guidance.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics that identify you. Nothing here needs a cookie banner, which is the point.
Your rights
You can ask to see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing info@alchemytherapy.co.uk. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
